High School Counselors

Welcome High School Counselors and thank you for your interest in Duquesne University!

High school guidance and college/career counselors play an important role in helping students find the education that is right for them. We hope these pages will help you guide students through the application process and provide for you with the informational materials you need.

Duquesne Students
At Duquesne University, we are seeking academically talented and motivated students who seek a first-rate education, rich in the moral and ethical values that provide a strong foundation for academic and career success.

Duquesne has 10,000 students, on a small campus close to the excitement of downtown Pittsburgh. Our University is small enough that our students can form close bonds with their professors, and get involved in research and real-world internships. Yet with 10 undergraduate and graduate schools and more than 90 fields of study students have plenty of opportunity to discover their specific passion.

Here, education for the mind, heart and spirit, incorporates community service and outreach as an essential part of the college experience, both in the classroom through service-learning and through student organizations.
